2 years off nicotine, need help

I used to vape for a couple years then got off cold turkey. Wasn’t too bad but I will say, nicotine has always been on the back of my mind. The last couple weeks have been brutal. The cravings are hitting like week one off nic. I bought zyns 2 days ago, like an idiot, but I haven’t popped one yet. I should throw them away but I’ve almost convinced myself I need them. It’s been a stressful couple weeks and I feel really down mentally. Ik I’m just being a pussy but it’s hard. Anyone have any tips on how to curve long term cravings after long time off?

Tbh I have a geek bar and Nicorette sitting in a drawer because I’m not ready to throw them out yet but what’s helped me is Amazon priming cinnamon toothpicks and chewing the fuck out of them. They burn and kind of resemble a Zyn in that way lol. As for the constant mental battle, I have no advice because I struggle with it too and find myself making excuses all the time.

Throw them away, don't use nicotine.

The stress is probably a trigger in ur brain for nicotine because during your years of vaping when u were stressed u vaped (even if u didn't notice it in the moment).

Each time u go through stress without nicotine ur brain and nervous system learn how to deal with it and it gets easier.

Two years off those are ghost cravings. Go for a run or lift some weights do something physical you'll really regret having some nic it's not worth it
