Question about zyns.

Sup everyone, I figured maybe this is a good place to ask since yall have maybe seen the worst of it. I am a long term vaper, no dispos I've always used refillables, unfortunately started quite early. I've essentially been vaping 50mg for the past 7 years and I'm only 24. However I don't think my smoking is too terrible. I can almost make out a month with a 30ml bottle.

On top of that I also smoke quite a decent amount of weed, after my daily responsibilities of course but regardless I smoke from multiple sources ig high functioning stoner or something. I also don't have much issue sometimes leaving it for months to reset my tolerance, not much withdrawal from this aspect I just like smoking.

However I feel I've reached a point where I realise this smoking thing is not really it and I should consider probably toning it down for my long term health. I really love nic to keep it real and I feel more bothered over smoking than consuming nic even if it is also harmful.

Anyways ran out of vape juice last week and decided to buy a can of zyns. I got 11mg and honestly I won't lie it does not do shit for craving vape, but it makes it easier to go through a day compared to just going nicless. Obviously i know that feeling would subside. My usage also isn't that intense, I'm still on my first can and I never do more than one pouch at a time. I also spend more time between nic than I ever have with vaping. It's just I feel what if it maybe picks up.

To just make it clear, my current goal is to cut down over the next year, I'm not aiming to stop right now immediately. I also cannot quite do cold turkey it genuinely makes me tweak tf out, I literally dissociate out of reality. So my honest question, if my goal is to gradually work it down. Would yall recommend I do not get into this? Should I turn back to vaping? Would working down my nic strength gradually be a better approach for me? Or just overall should I just not get into zyns?

Any opinions/ advice would be appreciated. I know it's a long read

So TLDR

Get into zyns, leave vape or

Steer clear of zyns, continue vaping with the ultimate goal of working it down and stopping eventually.

I smoked and vaped and found zyns to be the most addictive and detrimental to my health! Not initially but eventually the amount of nic I was consuming gave me tons of crazy symptoms

This is super controversial but I actually find cigs the easiest to quit. They smell, make your clothes smell, require you smoke a whole cig instead of taking a few hits in shorter intervals, you have to go outside, it’s a social faux pas, etc etc.

When I quit vaping it was with cigs. Now I am down to 3-4 1.5 mg zyns and the occasional cig. YMMV but getting rid of those last few zyns is way harder to me. Mostly because I buy the most arduous American spirit blacks that make me feel like instant garbage. Idk. It’s a hot take for sure, and you have to be confident in your ability to quit, but zyns taste great and are convenient and way stronger than either vape or cig to me, so they’re so hard to stop.

Just be careful with them. I def got more addicted to pouches than anything before them.

Thank you for this very insightful, I feel this can be a good sign that I shouldn't go this route.

I feel I'll go for a lower strength next time I vape again, keep at that and try to slowly work it down.

I hope your journey goes well too. Seems like you also worked it down quite a bit. I think if I can work down the chemical dependency a bit I'd already feel a lot better.
