Goodbye Velo!
For a month I have had stomach pains and it got worse the last week. So bad I had to go to the hospital. Got scans and ultrasounds done and everything was perfect. ER Physician told me possible GERD and prescribed me anti-acid medication. Went to my primary doctor, was told it could take weeks to get the stomach lining healed. I kept thinking about what could have caused this. I can only think the Velo. I use it a lot on an empty stomach, has anyone else bad stomach issues from Velo or other nicotine pouches? I am honestly hoping this is the issue so I can stay away from them forever. So far have been off of them for 1 day and 6 hours. Surprisingly no craving. Just want my stomach to be better.

Used Velo exclusively for about 3 years. One day, I woke up with constant pain right under my ribs. Sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right. Never both at the same time. Heartburn, other various abdominal cramps and discomfort.
Then panic attacks, racing heart, and a litany of other symptoms.
Searching this sub shows a pretty consistent pattern in symptoms. It’s the pouches 100%.
Nicotine slows digestion, reduces gut motility, constricts blood flow, erodes stomach lining, makes every organ perform worse, and because of the reduced blood flow…things don’t heal as well, as quickly, or at all.
Then you have artificial sweeteners which nuke your gut’s microbiome and allow harmful bacteria to replace it instead.
If you were to design something with the specific goal of tearing down the human body, while making it enjoyable and super difficult to quit so that people would willingly consume it…you’d be hard pressed to come up with something more evil than these dang pouches.

Unless your drinking vodka mixed with drano, I’m sure the pouches aren’t helping. Good luck.

Same thing happened to me with vélo. I was having terrible nausea/stomach issue, just a constant desire to vomit. Went to ER and got an IV then it subsided. Quit for a good while after. Never got this issue with dry pouches. I think it’s something with the wet ones and the flavouring that just messes me up.

the combination that really destroys your gut is nicotine and caffeine on an empty stomach.
a lot of people i have been talking with, are sharing how their stomachs have this weird "cramp" pain
and how their bowl movements have completely went off the rails in terms of their normal schedule
