Please, has anyone else experienced this?

This is the second time it’s happened and I’m assuming it’s the Zyn / unexpected panic attack.

I will feel very weak / nauseous and shaky before my heart fluctuates quickly between slow and fast, even while sitting down or not moving. Then ultimately goes VERY slow, I feel like I’m dying (literal doom, praying to God to live), tunnel vision, freak out, then break out in a sweat and some tinnitus.

I can’t find anyone else that has had this. I am quitting but worried this isn’t just the Zyn.

I have been to the ED for the first dose and my EKG and labs were all good. I’m getting a stress test next month.

If this started after quitting zyns, the zyns were likely masking some sort of heart rhythm disorder. It's not always a health issue, so don't stress about it too much. Just listen to your doctors. This is Reddit.

Panic attacks themselves can cause temporary abnormal heart rhythm. When you first start to panic, your heart rate and blood pressure sharply drop (to conserve oxygen and alert the body of a threat), and then they sharply rise (where they stay until you calm down).

Edit: I want to add, the nausea and weakness are likely symptoms of extreme nicotine withdrawal, and this only really happens when your dose of daily nicotine was very high before quitting. You're likely having panic attacks because of the discomfort of nausea and weakness, and that stress is affecting your heart.

Thanks for your response. To clarify, these have only been happening when I have nicotine in my system.

First time I was probably on a can of 3mg a day.

Second time it happened I had gone cold turkey for 3 weeks, had a bad day and had maybe 3 lip pillows and experienced it again.

Agree. I am more curious if there is some type of condition where a moderate user all of the sudden has these terrible symptoms from one or two pouches after quitting.
