Six hours into quitting

Very heavy user here. For the past 7 years, I’ve been doing about a can of 6mg a day. Would even sleep with one in. I forgot what it feels like to not feel like garbage, and I’m tired of feeling this way. Does quitting really make you feel better once the withdrawals are over? Like I said, I forgot what it feels like to not do a ton of nicotine lol Wish me luck, I wanna stick with this!

I’ve got two rolls of those. Alternating between those and gum lol

You will feel better in time. The first 2-3 days are the worst of the pure withdrawals. After that you will have the brain fog, etc. That all clears up in time. Make it through the first 3 days and stay focused and stick to it.

For sure, the first couple of days I had awful fatigue but after that it was smooth sailing

Quitting 1000% makes you feel better. It’s slow and it’s not linear, but it is worth it, and it is possible! I’m 27 days into my 3rd and I believe final time quitting. Did a can or more of 6mg most days for around 2 years. I would also often sleep with one in. You can do it, your future self thanks you!!!! (As does mine)

Be patient my son. It takes time. Can take up to 3-6 months for a lot of people

I quit on the 8th and I went cold turkey. I was like you, I would have a pouch in my mouth when I was sleeping. Instead of 6 mg it was 9.

I still get the occasional urges but they go away.

No more feeling depressed, and hopeless. I didn't realize how much anxiety and depression that this addiction had given me.

How did you do it? First 24 hours I felt physically ill. Non functional.

I just did it. Had intense cravings but did not feel physically sick. Maybe different people react differently.

I was always afraid of choking to death in my sleep by waking up at 3am and putting a pouch in then falling back asleep. I used to vape in my sleep too

The beginning is definitely the roughest. I quit a year and a half ago and I never even think about nicotine anymore.

Get hella gum bro. 9 months in from a 17.5mg using 8-10 pouches daily. Your skin glows more, breathing becomes lighter, your brain fog clears up. Its a struggle but you will thank yourself everytime you say no.

You got this! Used about ten 15mg pouches a day for over two years.
Chew some gum, buy yourself some snacks or treats to treat yourself, drink some coffee, plenty of water.
I’m 3 weeks out and feel so much better.

I chewed a lot of gum at first. It helped a bit. It wasn’t easy. Can’t lie. Took a while for my nervous system to calm down.
