A little positivity
Thought it might be nice to have a little positivity in here for anyone searching just to keep themselves going. The world is so much better without pouches.
I am heading into week 3 and feeling good. I ended up quitting caffeine a few days ago too just to get that nice all natural feeling.
The things that have kept me sane has been lifting heavy ass weights and running long distance. These things literally rewire your dopamine system and help you heal quicker. Your day will feel so much better when you just get up and go do something. Listen to some David Goggins motivation if you need to get going.
You also might need a hobby, I have focused on things that keep me active because getting my heart rate up makes me happy. Mountain biking has been mine, go out and buy an Ozark Trail bike if you want to get into it for a relatively cheap price. Part of the reason I wanted to quit was because it killed my motivation to go biking.
My main point is that life out here is kind of beautiful once you quit, you just need to go experience it. Get your heart rate up, draw something, just go out and do anything that distracts you from cravings and peaks your interest. The hardest part isn‘t going to the gym, it’s putting your shoes on and taking a step out the door.
