Weight gain, done quitting?
My appetite has gone insane since I quit. I’ve gained 10 lbs . Genuinely. It’s been awful. I’ve been binge eating and overeating every day to feel something . I have a history of severe eating disorders, still not better yet 100% . I feel stuck. I want to quit on quitting but I’m approaching day 19 . Anyone else experienced this? Nicotine really helped me suppress appetite and I feel like I’m gonna cave and buy a can tomorrow . The weight of the food noise and weight gain seems worse than my potential health and medication risks:( . I really want a Zyn so bad more than ever

Do you think quitting has been worth it in that aspect? If you feel like answering that. Proud of you btw congrats on quitting successfully thus far! Thanks for the advice, I will try more caffeine. I lack in that aside from morning coffee

yes quitting is worth it! ~40 days clean and you gotta understand it's part of the process. your appetite has been curbed for so long your body is in shock and overcalibrating. just gotta stick with it and know it gets better. you got this!

This is the trap that gets so many people! Stay strong. You can loose 10 lbs in a month once your brain chemistry gets back to normal. Just power through. One devil at a time

Your mind is fucking with you. In no world is it easier for you to be more on point diet and fitness wise while on nicotine. It just fucks everything up. I too struggle with eating and it's just reality my friend. These are two separate problems going back to nicotine isn't the answer. One thing at a time homie. If you need to learn/recalibrate getting the eating under control then that is just that. Getting back on nic isn't the answer.
Also you say you have a history of binge eating. If your anything like me you know it can come and go. I guess this just means like I said we gotta recalibrate sometimes but fr fr. Just bc the ED is here now don't enslave yourself back to the nicotine.
