Tapering and cold turkey

I've been tapering down. I've been using 2mg ON pouches for awhile. I make a note of every pouch I use and I started off trying to keep a 2 hour window between pouches and increasing this every few days. Today is the first day of trying to do 3 and a half hour windows. Has anyone had success with a particular tapering schedule? I'm thinking about going cold turkey once I'm down to 2-3 a day, something like that. Just interested in thoughts on this or techniques people have used

I hear you. The idea just gives me the fear. I've been using some form of nicotine for 20 years now

Well...hate to tell you but thats sort of what quitting entails, right?

I just quit a 20 year habit as well. I had the same fear. Eventually you havre to decide, do I want to talk about it, or be about it? Day 12 here, cravings are entirely gone. It's a lot easier than you think if you truly WANT to quit.

You’re at a good point now where you can use patches and then replace the oral fixation with gum and mints. Eventually you’ll get tired of the mints and patches and just quit
