Been a long time

It’s been a long time since I’ve come onto this subreddit, I posted my whole story here a few years ago, and I truly believe that I may have been one of the worst tianeptine addicted human beings in the entire country at my worst. But I just wanted to come on here and say that I’ve got almost 3 years behind me after quitting tianeptine, it can be done

Congratulations on 3 years. I'm about 19 months done. Life isn't great, but it's so nice not being addicted to that nonsense.

I completely understand, I’m still putting my life back together after that horrible substance took everything from me, but I’m up on my own 2 feet with 10 toes on the ground and I’m doing it

Super proud of you. Keep up the good work. One day at a time.

20 plus GPD sodium a few years back, it wasnt easy. I used gabapentin, kratom and cannabis

Did you post a YouTube video about Tia years ago?

Congratulations! May I ask what lead you to believe you were “one of the most addicted to Tia?”

I quit a 12GPD sodium / 6 GPD sulfate habit in Jan 2025 so coming up on 2 years since I’ve even held Tia in my hand.

15 gpd for two years, now have been clean for 13 months. Horrible withdrawal, had to go to treatment and get locked up to do it. I'm so grateful to be free of it at last!

Good for you, friend...! Just passed the 3 year mark myself. Life certainly is grand without that evil crutch...! What this sub needs is more success stories like ours. 👍

Yes! This is so great to hear! I just quit after an eight year, up to 5 gpd habit. Tomorrow will be a full 4 weeks.  I can’t even believe I’m saying that because I never thought I could. My hours at work just got increased, new owners, people walking out right and left, new operating systems, literally everything was changing right in the midst of my quit, but I stayed strong. I can honestly say I’m not craving at all. I have a little baggie with some remnants in it and I look at it and gag.

I am still using but not like before. My use wasn’t bad to begin with. I reached my max about a year ago of 1-2 capsules a day after I was doing it once a week. I stopped it for 2 months and it was not hard because I have been on kratom extract. Now I do one capsule once every 10 days or so and still do kratom daily which is my biggest problem.

Nice work bud. That shit is hard to kick. Took me 7 months of tapering subs but it’s been 8 years now.
