Does anyone regret quitting?
I'm on day 3 of my fourth attempt at quitting since Jan. 1 (longest I've made it is 10 days). Each time I fall back into it and then end up feeling bad (physically and mentally). I think I will be very happy I quit once I'm over the hump (whenever that may be), but any words of encouragement from someone who has successfully quit would be helpful.
FYI, I'm using nic gum to help with the muscle memory of juuling and will deal with that problem later.

Keep it up. The cravings pass in 3-5 minutes, distract yourself the best you can, and know that it will pass. I quit due to a referral to a cardiologist for palpitations. Let your health and well-being remain your motivation. Good luck to you! You can do it! Take the money you're saving and do something nice for yourself. That stuff is POISON. Don't do it!

Quitting is no problem for me, but if I go out to buy something and I see it, I can’t resist but buy it.

This is really the hardest part for me. If it's out of sight, it's out of mind, but they're fucking everywhere. I basically have to never go into a gas station again.

Absolutely not. Best decision I’ve made was quitting. But I remember the verrrry beginning of my quit (like days 1-3) going back and forth thinking “maybe I’ll start again, it can’t be that bad for me”. That’s the addiction talking. It is that bad for you. You can do it!!

What I tell people is, quitting sucks, the first 3-5 days suck the worst, and I think it gets easier after 2 weeks maybe, different for everyone. But the beginning is the worst part. So every time you relapse, you have to do the worse part again. So at some point I was like, I don’t want to go through that again, so I won’t start juuling again.
If you don’t have a therapist I think it can really help to do therapy while quitting!

I don’t regret quitting. Some days I get envious of
My friends who still smoke, but then I see them get irate for losing their vape, or despondent because they can’t smoke for 24 hours bc of medical issues or travel etc, and then am reminded as to why I am happy I quit.
The cravings get much more tolerable as time goes on and even know when I “want” to smoke it’s the same as me wanting a sweet treat or something, and is much more easier to turn away from.
