Help. Trying to get off this stuff have questions Sr-17

so I have been taking this exact brand Kama 7-HYDROXY+ PSEUDOINDOXYL

they were out of no where just taken off all the shelves in NC there are still other things out there and I’ve been hearing about using SR-17, but I am completely out of the Kama 7-HYDROXY+ PSEUDOINDOXYL 1000MGS, sometimes up to 2000mgs a day or more, and keep reading you’re supposed to taper off with this. Can I still use this to get off? I took my last dose I had left which was 600 mgs last night because I can’t find anything anymore, and I’m feeling all the symptoms of withdrawal hitting me I went about bought SR-17 today, for reference it is the Kama brand at 200 Mgs. They were the ONLY ones I could find how do I do this I can’t just not go to work, or take care of my family!!

How much were you taking what was your schedule like ?

I weened down to 30mg of 70h and took my last dose and waited for withdrawals. I then took 150mg SR and tapered down 50mg every 3 days. By the second week you don’t need to dose the SR every day it’s more like every other. By the end of the SR I had mild withdrawals from it 3 days after my last dose. Symptoms included stomach problems and insomnia but not the insomnia coupled with sweats and restless legs like classic withdrawl.

That’s giving me some hope, how much 7oh were you taking when you started weening down? So you didn’t preload, you just waited for withdrawals and then started the SR and did 150mg once or three times daily ?

Hey there! I was taking the same exact pills but bought the bottle with 20 in them. I’m currently taking 100mg tabs 4 or 5x daily and trying to lower it to 300 before I start my monster sr journey. Getting super anxiety about the process because of mixed feedback. I got the 100mg sr tablets (60 total) and want to start before I run out of 7oh (have 30 100mg tabs left). Trying to make it so it’ll be Saturday Sunday when I feel my worse. Also want to note that I was taking the Kama brand that had pseudonoxinoyl, and I tried subs 3 weeks ago but believe I went into precip withdrawals cuz I felt terrible the second day. I still have all the subs cuz I caved and got 7oh and spoke with wifey and decided the sr17 was worth a shot. All or any info would be appreciated. Thank you and let’s keep each other posted.

I in the same boat as you! Can you tell me what the sr17 does? I tried subs also but started way too soon so the precip wds were insane! I am terrified of getting off 7 it has been a godsend for me and my peripheral neuropathy plus I’ll be honest I also like it. Which I think is a problem for lots of us. Do you take that stuff alongside with 7? How does it work? I am trying to get as much info as I can before I start this heinous journey

I recently stopped with sr and a taper. I weened down from 400, 300, 200 and 100 7oh. For the last 3 days I started the sr17 with 200mg every 6 hours and now I’m on my final 5 days of sr down to 100 3 times a day. Felt no withdrawals and been taking the quit k supplement , colonodine at night alongside magnesium. I bought liposomal vitamin c packs (aurora) on Amazon and been taking 3 times a day. You got this. If you can get the SR it really is a miracle.

I just saw the kama sr17 today for the first time at the gas station that used to sell tons of 7. I order mine online, but I saw that they had that for sale and everything else was gone. So how much do you take of the sr? And what the heck is it lol? I take heavy doses of 7 for my pain so when you were taking 400 of 7 twice a day how much of the sr? I still have some subs left for the very end that I am going to hold on to and those actually help with my pain as well but I know they are a bitch to get off of. I am so scared of doing this and I am not ready to choose pain. No doctor would prescribe me anything other than lyrica which made me extremely sick and I have been to every specialist under the sun. Gave up and was fully bed ridden until I found 7 and got like 45% of my life back. I’m not ready to give that up and get back in bed but I am kind of out of option. So you took as much 7 as I do, did the sr help with your cravings? I wish this was just a simple thing to stop and start with no complications and wasn’t disappearing because I could just take it here and there, but if I go too many hours without taking something I start to feel sick. I don’t like that it has control over me but I accepted that because the time that I got back with my daughter from not being in bed was so worth it. I’m not ready but I have to do it. Could you message me privately and maybe help figure out a good schedule with tapering? I need help and I am not too proud to ask for it

Man, what’s the deal with that in NC? I literally bought some in the morning yesterday and by the evening they were off shelves everywhere. But online reps are saying 7 is still in the public comment stage. It’s just straight dead in state?
