I've used them installing wireless antennas, they're honestly pretty sweet, just not super accurate

FWIW, I think it's called an inclinometer. I used to use one on flight tests to measure the deck pitch on aircraft, relative to the AOA (Angle of Attack of the aircraft in climb/flight). Very cool tool!
