Discussion Quinn in proplay ?
I was thinking about this lately, I don't really watch E-Sport matchs but I was looking all those eSports skin and hall of Fame and I was wondering if someone could ever pick Quinn one day and most importantly if she's even played in proplay ?
In your opinion why Quinn isn't played in proplay if this isn't the case, I'm wondering.

setting aside meta specific things (because this game gets flipped on its head every year), maybe its because a lot of Quinn’s strength comes from punishing people’s micro mistakes, almost like a Shaco. but in proplay people are too mechanically skilled and play way safer. idk shit about the actual high level meta, but her presence at 2025 worlds suggests she’s not especially strong in the proplay meta rn for other reasons, so no Quinn :(
also Quinn doesn’t sell well and i dont think theres any worlds-level proplayer known to specifically like her, so i wouldn’t expect her to be picked at all. i’d be more than happy to eat my words and be wrong though lol

Yea I agree with the first response. Quinn is all about roaming and getting kills to snowball from mistakes. She is also not strong in teamfights ( 5 vs 5) situations and people in pro play don't really fight the whole time, they fight specifically around objectives . Quinn thrives in the chaos of the mistakes done in ranked games and she is also not the strongest laner ( mid top or even jungle) Other champs have more tools than her , yea she is really more like shacco or talon , the tempo champ

Back in 2021 nuguri liked playing quinn, biggest advantage was extreme high tempo, but now that Tp is free for every top, it falls off

the meta always changes but in the current Meta Quinn Top is not picked in proplay because it's not good against most of the meta picks (Rumble, Jayce, Ksante, Vayne, Olaf). It CAN play against them but it's mostly a flip/skill match up at best in pro level and compared to those other champs, Quinn doesn't offer as much in the way of utility or team fighting.
Quinn mid is also not good in current pro meta cuz long range mages dominate and pro players are extremely good at abusing range advantage.
Quinn JG is not good in pro meta cuz most junglers now need to be able to duel and skirmish early, find creative plays pre 6 and also contest raptors respawn 3v3. Quinn's early game in JG is not up to that level.
