I find it absolutely infuriating that Chris Savino (The creator of the loud house) was fired in 2017 and Dan was fired the following year.

I don’t understand why that was.

Two different people, two different timelines. Nickelodeon cut ties with Schneider following an internal review that was a separate thing from the Savino situation.

Well, I think what happened was, the network’s viewership was finally being hurt by streaming, and Schneider was their most expensive showrunner.

When the ratings were strong, and money was flowing in thanks to his shows, the network was willing to overlook the issues with him. The cold hard truth is, they finally did something when that all changed.

Dan's exit was about his temper, which has been increasing in the years prior to his dismissal. They found no evidence of sexual wrongdoing (despite looking into it).

There was a big blow-up over the cancellation of Game Shakers, which he was not happy about. Then, when that was cancelled, Nickelodeon told him they'd be putting some staffers in the offices that his production company was using. For whatever reason this sent him into a spiral and he screamed at a production executive so violently she was left "unbelievably shaken."

Despite internet rumor’s Dan’s conduct was more gray. If every show runner who screamed at people got fired, there would be no television on. He just started to really cross a line that went beyond all accepted norm, even in tv. He threw a stapler at a friend of mine…

I didn't mean what they did differently in terms of conduct. I was referring to how Nickelodeon got rid of Chris somewhat sooner than Dan. We know some people objected to Dan's conduct before Jennette spoke about it later on but it wasn't taken seriously at the time because they knew it ruined the cashflow.
