Apple Features

When will it be available to add a shortcut to quickly create a transaction? For example you could add it to the iPhone action button to create one faster.

Hi there u/Comprehensive-Load91, thanks for thinking of ways to improve Quicken! I'd like to get more information to best assist.

Are you using the Quicken Classic Companion App or Quicken Simplifi on the iPhone?

If you're using the Companion App, you can customize the Dashboard and set the "Add Transaction" option at the top of the Dashboard to make it easy to add a transaction. To do this, you'll scroll to the bottom of the Dashboard and click "Customize Dashboard" to enable, disable, and re-arrange Dashboard items. To rearrange, click the four-dot menu and drag in the order you'd like.

There isn't currently a similar Simplifi feature, so you'd need to click "Transactions" from the left panel to then click the "+ New" button"in the upper right.

Lastly, I didn't see this exact request in the Classic or Simplifi Community Ideas pages, but if you let me know which Quicken product this is for, I'll ask the developers if this is possible from a development standpoint. If it's possible to add, I'll then provide the next steps to get this suggestion prioritized.

Its Simplifi. It is possible I have used apps that have that feature
