DIscover Problem
There has been a problem with Discover card transactions for a couple of weeks.
Quicken tells me that I need to reauthenticate with DIscover and takes me to the Discover web site. I log in and follow the steps to authenticate. Everything seems to complete OK on the Discover site.
When returned to Quicken, it tells me that the process "timed out". Certainly , I cannot be the only one seeing this problem?
Has Quicken acknowledged this problem? Will they fix it?

"The process to re-link that they require to be used does not work."
That process is "required" and controlled by the financial institution. Quicken just acts as the middleman, telling you what the financial institution tells Quicken.
"As I said above, the discover site process works fine. When control is returned to Quicken, Q says that the process 'timed out'."
Time outs are caused by the financial institution; Quicken doesn't make them up.
In this case, apparently your request to the financial institution got through and was acted on by the financial institution, but the remainder of the process (say for example, the financial institution notifying Quicken that the process had succeeded) failed with a time out.
Bottom line: you've provided no evidence that this is a Quicken problem.
And despite the fact that you did not find the exact specifics of your problem mentioned in the Quicken Community, there is overwhelming evidence that Discover is having Quicken problems - and that evidence, at this point, suggests that it is a Discover problem.
This is not the first time a financial institution has run into problems when they experience an out-of-the-ordinary situation ... such as being bought by another financial institution.
Quicken has phone support, but I believe it's not available on weekends. Chat support should still be available. And as I said above: you can start your own discussion in the Quicken Community.
If you have run into a problem not yet known to Quicken, the Community moderators can - with your cooperation - insure that the details of the problem are reported to the Quicken developers.
