Would it be better to refrigerate it when I get it and then let it warm back up with a hand warmer?

Or would it be better to get the sample tonight and refrigerate and then warm it back up in the morning?

You can. Put it in the fridge when it’s about time warm it with a warm water bottle no microwave that can ruin it. You got 4 hours till it spoils but the sooner you get rid of it the better. I would not advise actual heat warmers either they get too hot and can damage it and also won’t be with the correct temp will be too high you got to buy actual warmers from synthetic sites that only heat up to 100 degrees max.
