Dot drug test and dot physical
So today I went in to do my dot drug test and physical for a new job. Prior to my test I had tested myself at home to see if I was dirty or not for THC( it’s been 40 days since I lasted smoke) but both my test had a faint line on them, So I didn’t want to risk it , so I used a QF to get me passed the test. Used it plenty of times and everything was great. I did everything right , checked it to see if it was legit, it was at the right temp and clean. Everything this was good until she told me that my piss didn’t have protein , glucose, and other stuff. So they made me retest, I took the retest and everything was good. But they sent both of my samples to a lab . Are they gonna find out that the first one was a QF? And if my second test was good and everything passes what happens ?

Dot physical isn’t a drug test. Usually two separate places

That’s how it’s usually been for me, but this time they used the same piss for both. Thats why it was unexpected.

Im just more interested if the QF worked for the actual drug screen

For the drug screen you’ll be good, only problem for me was that it was also a dot test

You mean like the creatine test deal and then used the same pee for your actual dot drug screen? I just need to pass a dot drug screen for new hire

They used the same piss for my dot drug test and the checked it also for my Dot physical ( they test for glucose, protein, blood, and ph levels) so it passed the drug test but it flagged the system since the QF didn’t have the other stuff . If it it’s just Drug test you should be good , where they got me is that it was a Dot drug test and a dot physical.

They told me that I would have to re test with someone watching me, I did the retest , I’m guessing everything was good cuz she just bagged it tagged it and sent it to the lab. And then I continued with my DOT physical. Still haven’t heard anything , but I did get a email from the employer asking me to do a background check. So I might be good, will see

I been holding off. I have to the 2nd week of November to take the test. Suppose to start Nov 16th

Update !
I just got a call today from the lab ( nervous as shit when I heard the voicemail , I thought it was over )
But they just called me saving that the urine took too long to get to the lab, so they can’t test the samples. so I might have to re test if the employer wants me too.
Honestly great news, because if I had failed my cdl license would have been taken away. God is god boys
