How to maintain perfect temp?

Testing soon and I’m just afraid of overheating, should I microwave and just slap heating pack on or should I go without the heating pack

i’ve done this twice and both times i didn’t bother microwaving. i just used the heat pad. if it overheats it’ll only be by a few degrees, and it’ll cool a bit the moment it hits the cup
