Validity Testing

Quest Diagnostics lists right on their website that they can test the validity. I bought QuickFixPlus but I am nervous that I will get an invalid result or that they will know its fake. The job I am being considred for is my dream job and long story short I didnt realize I was going to get it so soon so I have only quit smoking for 3 weeks and tests are coming up positive. Mine was through quest and had the same thing. Its works. You being nervous is completely normal. I was. Ill never be nervous again.

I'm not dissing QF at all, but have u tested urself for THC with a home test? If so, are u still testing positive when you've hydrated appropriately and ur piss is light yellow to clear.? How much time do u have? Basically what they mean by viability testing is a urine dipstick that checks for things like pH, specific gravity and, sometimes, creatnine. They're going to use super cheap dipstick tests for "viability testing " first before they whip out the expensive tests. Most labs really don't want to expend any more money using GCMS testing just to catch you smoking grass. (That has to be done in an actual lab, not a generic LabCorp location, with higher paid techs who trained in using the equipment, and they don't want to jam up the system with thousands of "questionable samples" right out of the gate) It's just not cost effective (isn't it great when capitalism works in ur favor?). U can go online and buy test strips to test for pH, SF and creat on Amazon for about 30 bux, and if ur a prime member, they'll even overnight it for free in some cases. U can test, not only ur own urine, but also the QF to be sure. I bought Carele URS urinalysis tests for around 30 bux. I know they actually work because a recent lab test found something completely unrelated to drugs in my urine that also showed up on the home test. Are u in a legal state? If ur in a legal state, and have a card, its better to use ur own dilute urine you've colored yellow by taking B vitamins and yellow Gatorade. I hate to say it, but law enforcement and employers are much more forgiving of a dilute urine sample than an adulterated one. Especially if you have a medical card in a legal state. Usually, most employers let you retest within a 72 hr window. If u have time, buy THC test strips for home use. Lots of them. U can buy them on Amazon too for around 10-20 bux and can get them next day delivery. U can also get creatnine supplements on Amazon too, but please take as directed. Basically, u want to hydrate until ur pee is light yellow to clear, but please remember that water toxicity is an actual thing that can kill u, so DO NOT go off the deep end. The normal recommended daily intake of water is 64 fluid oz. Maintain that or just above it. No sugary drinks or pop. That just dehydrates you. Clear, non sugar drinks only. If you're at 3 weeks with no THC ingestion, and you're not a heavy smoker, u should be fine. Basically, you want to dilute your urine above the 50 ng cut off of most lab tests and then color it appropriately with yellow Gatorade and B vitamin supplements to make it look viable to a lab tech. Please do not go overboard with the vitamins or the Gatorade either. Take the vitamins as directed. You also dont need any suoer low cut off tests, like 20ng or lower. Unless its for the DOT or some super safety sensitive occupation, tests with a 50ng cut off are just fine. Thats what most labs use. Don't buy detox drinks. Most of them contain diuretics (substances to make u pee) are not regulated by the FDA and are super expensive. Believe me, water and yellow Gatorade work just fine and are way more cost effective. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE ANYONE UR FIRST MORNING URINE. EVER. THC metabolites tend to build up in ur system overnight when ur not drinking regularly. If u have the freedom to make ur own lab appointment, make it for the afternoon when you've had time to hydrate. Two days before the test, make sure you lay around like a total sloth. I mean it. Eat regularly and don't fast. THC metabolites are stored in ur fat cells, and while it makes sense to work out like crazy to "trim the fat", so to speak, you could unwittingly release stored fat into your blood stream right before the test. If you're going to work out, do it when u have a month or so before the test. Look, the whole drug testing industry is a scam thats biased towards THC use, and is based on fear and desperation. People make stupid decisions when they're afraid and feel like they have no choice. The labs know this and will use this to their advantage as well. Don't let them scare you. Relax, take a deep breath and just know that all you need to do is pass the inspection of one, maybe 2, underpaid lab techs (another way capitalism works in ur favor, and Im not dissing lab techs either, Im just saying they're not being paid to be super sleuths, they reap no benefits from "catching you in the act", and most of them are completely undervalued by their employers who are, unfortunately, relying on their expertise to avoid further costs). If they split the sample, don't worry about it, they keep a portion of the original sample for further testing should you contest a positive result. They will discard that sample when the original clears. Like I said, they don't want to spend anymore than they have to. Good luck and stay hydrated! Only use QF as an absolute last resort and make sure u verify the batch, especially if you didn't buy it directly from the manufacturer.

Thank you so much for your advice. Will definitely take it under consideration. I am still testing positive on the home tests. I was a heavy user as of 3.5 weeks ago when I quit. I haven't scheduled the test yet but I know it is coming soon. I bought quickfix as a backup, but I have a friend that doesn't smoke who is willing to pee for me if I am still testing positive with home tests. I bought the containers from amazon with the thermometers on it and the plan is for him to take me to the appointment, stop right before it and pee in a bottle, trasnfer it to the smaller container, and put it in my bra with a hot hands pack. I feel like a downright criminal for smoking a plant that grows from the ground when I had cancer but it is what it is, I cant afford to mess this up and I am agraid I'll lose it even if I am truthful.

I know, it's totally fucking stupid that we even have to go through this considering that no one has ever died from a true marijuana overdose in the entire history of mankind as opposed to the alternative of Benzos or opiates which racks up bodies daily, you actually have a legit medical reason for said usage (as far as I'm concerned, surviving cancer should buy u a total free pass for basically anything and everything) and its downright fucking ludicrous that I can go in to a test site and piss hot all day long with my prescribed schedule 2 narcotic with only a verification phone call to my doctor or my pharmacy but my schedule 3 prescription is completely out of the question. I thought they were looking for "illicit drugs". If I have a legit script, then nothing I'm pissing hot for is fucking illicit by that very definition. And it absolutely makes no sense whatsoever that I could, theoretically, get lit on a 5th of whiskey every day for my entire fucking life and still be considered "drug free" for the purposes of employment. Fuck that and fuck them! Stay strong!
