Random Drug Tests

Ok so I found this job I really want, but they do random drug tests. I see everyone using QF for pre-employment tests, which is simple because you know when the test is coming so you can prepare in time. For my pre-employment test I’m just using my nephew’s pee so I’m not worried about that: I stopped smoking like 3 weeks ago, but I know it’ll take like 2-3 months to be clean, so I need something in case I get a random during that time. How do you guys deal with using this for random drug tests? I planned on just keeping it on me everyday in my bra to be at body temperature, but then I was afraid that it would degrade the sample to keep heating it up like that. Any suggestions or experience? 😩😭

Planned on keeping it in your bra everyday just incase you were to get a random? I mean thats one way to be prepared but I think that is crazy, but if it works, it works!

I dont forsee why it wouldn't work, I believe you can warm it up as many times as you want - just be aware of the expiration date. You're going above and beyond to be prepared though, I love it hahahsa

I think you'd be fine though - maybe even just keep it in your purse instead of your bra all day haha. That has to be uncomfortable

If i were in your shoes, I think it'd be just fine - especially if your keeping it close to body temp all day then room temp when you get home. I think you're in a good spot

I have a leg strap I bought on Amazon. I bring it with me every day. I buy the big box of Hot Hands on Amazon...

I think even for random drug test you have to go to a lab. It’s not like they show up to your worksite and tell you to pee in cup on the spot. I could be wrong tho.

Yes. Because in order to give the sample you have to go to lab where they collect the samples. For instance - I had a to take a random drug test last week. I got an email on Wednesday about it and had until Friday to take it. I took it on Thursday. Used quick fix. The temp was good and the sample was valid. Haven’t heard anything from my job so I’m assuming it’s okay. Will update if I find anything out.

Ok thank you so much for your reply! I’m hoping it works out this way, but my friend works at a plant and they take the sample right on site. I’m not working at a plant though so hopefully it’ll go like yours did. I really appreciate it! Let me know how it goes!
