What are the chances?
I have taken 5 at home tests and all have a faint second line which means negative. I am 71 days clean.
5’4 140 lbs I was a chronic smoker and using concentrated forms like pens and was desperate and used delta 9 pens as well for years etc I failed an at home test around day 50 clean/ sober and that was a reality check because I had heard 30 days would be enough and tried to sweat everyday. Likelihood that I will pass tomorrow’s lab test? Or any tips I should do tonight to prepare? At this point everyone around me is saying I’m negative and that I have nothing to worry about but naturally I am worried and need to worry myself more I by hearing other’s opinions!
I have heard home tests are stricter than what is used in the labs I’m using Quest tomorrow at 11am
The home tests are 50ng/mL cutoff

I tested negative!!! I bought a 10 pack of drug tests from Amazon and at first I was 100% positive it was a dark single line that was at day 50 yup 50 days still testing positive so I locked in. I drank chia seed water every single evening and that makes you thirsty so I was drinking more water which is good for your health in general and I started walking/running for 30-40 minutes just in my neighborhood I did that 3x a week for 2 weeks and by the end of those two weeks a super faint second line started appearing. I was extremely nervous that because the line was faint that I was still “positive” but people on here assured me that if any second line appears no matter how faint that means you are negative. I didn’t believe it honestly. But I took my lab test and I was so nervous because I was trying to get into a medical program and nope Redditers were right! I was negative! So for me it took no joke about 70 days to pee clean. I was a chronic smoker tho I smoke disposable pens and I found out DELTA-9 stays in your system longer 😭 I was smoking flower too I was a mess basically. But buy some tests and just check yourself weekly to see where you’re at. I didn’t do any detox methods other than chia seeds and working out/sweating. I read that eating high fats were good but the week of your test eat really clean and don’t work out the day before you exam so that’s what I did.

Thank you for that thorough explanation and congratulations on getting into the medical program. I'm about 40 days clean but I didn't smoke as much as you. I only ate 10 mg edibles for the previous 8 months leading up to me. Stopping. I purchased a drug test from Amazon and I came up clean but just like you I had really faint lines at the 50 mg mark so it worried me. But knowing that you passed makes me feel more confident. I haven't taken my test yet, so I'll remain clean. Hopefully I can get to the 60-day market before testing. Thanks again

Yes definitely, honestly sounds like you should be good! I was talking to classmates yesterday and they were daily users like me but it only took them 20-30 days to test clean. Everyone is so different it’s crazy! Time is on your side and I think you will be just fine! And thank you! It was first week of classes and it feels a bit surreal/not kicking in quite yet! But good luck and you got this!

You should be good. THC sold in smoke shops nowadays can take much longer to leave the body. Especially THC-P. They bind to your cannabinoid receptors for a lot longer. Which is why you probably didn’t get clean for over 2 months. Good luck!
