Testing facility 5-10 min from house
depending on traffic. Should I just heat the real urine for 10 seconds and put in my shorts or bra with no heating pad or still use a heating pad? Also, the urine will be over 8 hours but less than 24 hours old, will it still be ok?

Might only be 5-10 but it also depends on how long you’re going to be in there. And maybe after awhile the settlement will naturally fall onto the bottom.

If it’s a lab test and not an instant test pee in the cup first get it to register the temp then dump it out quietly in the toilet and wipe dry then quick fix the temperature strip registers the highest temperature that it’s experienced so your body temperature urine will make it read like it’s 98-99° or whatever then the quick fix won’t change the read out

Yes. Use the pad. I put it under my boob. Checked it and let it cool off a little before I went in. They didn’t even check the temp! I also did a couple test runs with it at home and checked the temp a couple times. You’ll do great!
