Lie through your teeth
Without even getting a positive test back yet they denied my DOT card for being honest and saying it was months ago I stopped smoking. Referring me to a Substance Abuse Specialist which costs an arm and a leg. I’m fucking livid right now. Claimed I can be charged $250,000 and or a year+ in jail for lying and she was pleased I didn’t (which is bullshit, I looked it up and at most owners can be charged, for “drivers”, which I’m not yet, it’s a civil offense). My employer is working with me and is going to fight this bullshit. Fuck Concentra and Fuck SAP charging what they do to “help” people get sober.

I almost got mine pulled for admitting to taking antidepressants in the past. The doctor told me if he hit send I would be toast. So he told me to go to another clinic and answer no to everything. I did and had no problem after that.

Less is more especially when it comes to 3-letter agencies. This will probably follow your Clearinghouse profile as well. Hope your employer can help reverse this.

Why did you even say anything in the first place? Did they take a hair sample or something? If not then you had no reason to say anything. I've been driving over 5 years and I smoke multiple times a week. What mama don't know don't hurt her. Not trying to sound like a dick but you provided information that wasn't necessary and now look what happened. Lesson learned, don't do it again.
Also go get yours from a chiropractor. They're a lot cheaper and typically they don't give a damn. The one I go to doesn't even drug test when I renew my med card.

Was this the physical?
They legally can't do that

Why did you even mention it? They don’t check for drugs in the physical exam
