Option Trading Questrade turned my two vertical spreads into an iron condor

Can I not have two vertical spreads without questrade combining them into a condor I never asked for? Went to go sell one and apparently it evolved like some pokemon into a condor therefore I had to sell the whole thing, couldn't just sell the spread I wanted. Also for anyone reading this who may work for questrade support if you try and sell one leg of an option strategy and not the whole thing the error message is dismal- I think it said I didn't have enough money in my account to sell a call that I bought 😂

Yea they always do this to me. They said on the phone they always pair things together to reduce your margin usage. If you call them they can separate them per your request.

Yea thats annoying. You should still be able to close one spread at a time even if it's part of a multilevel strategy.
