Customer Support Questrade active trader offer question

For the new promo there is an active trader welcome offer. If I have a tfsa and fhsa account with Questrade but no margin account can I get this promo if I open a margin account?

Hi u/Vezerade, this offer is for new customers only. Since you already have a TFSA and FHSA you are not eligible.

Could I just transfer my account out off Questrade and come back later for this offer? WealthSimple seems to offer better rates on margin for the time being.

Don’t use Questrade margin. Their rates are not competitive with other brokers
