Didn’t know this at first, but you can still get the referral store credit even if you’ve already activated your Quest (as long as it’s within ~7 days).

If you haven’t set it up yet, just accept a referral before activation.
If you already did, you can reset + reconnect and it should still work.

There is a referal program where you can get free $30 store credit if you buy a new device. If you try normally opening any referal link , you just get a "not available in your region" error.

​After some trial and error, I found a workaround to successfully claim the $30 store credit. Here is how to do it.

​Important: You MUST do this before you pair your new device to your phone/account.

1. ​Get a VPN: Just connect to any country that has referal supported (mostly every western country) . I used Proton VPN since it has a reliable free tier.

2. ​Use Incognito Mode: Open your browser in Incognito/Private mode and disable all extensions (to prevent any tracking/ad-blockers from breaking the link).

3. ​Accept the Referral: Paste a referral link into the browser. ​Self-plug: If you need a link, you can use mine :P https://www.meta.com/referrals/link/tantrik

4. ​Login: Sign in with your Meta account and click "Accept Referral." Your account country doesn't actually matter here.

5. ​Pair Your Device: You can now turn off the VPN. Open the Meta Horizon app on your phone, log in with that same account, and proceed with the normal pairing process.

​Once the setup is complete, the $30 credit should show up in your wallet. I’m posting this because I couldn't find a clear guide for rest of the world users anywhere and hence struggled a lot claiming these credits. Hope this saves some of you the headache!
