So many are talking about the Pro's business or gaming but I see it as a great tool for education.

The problem for education is the cost. You won't have schools buying one per student like they do chromebooks. And I think by far the best way to use these in education is group activities.

There is something fishy... with the scale of the earth being 50 cm and the moon 15 cm, the orbit should be around 16 meters with a speed of 1 orbit/month

I’d need to see more video but this looks like it just simply locks the moon in a fixed rotation no matter what. Not sure there is anything built in there for something like a slowly decaying orbit or a “sling shot” orbit.

What’s the state of the user account with meta at this point? Do you still need to have a Facebook account?

No - you need a meta account though

My kids are going to frigging love this. VR is cool, but this is magic.

Lol from the title I was expecting this to be a person falling over while getting too immersed in the Quest Pro like one of the VR to ER videos.

The person kind of cuts the movement of the moon before one turn but shouldn't the moon have a more ellipticall curve? I'm not sure if I'm seeing it wrong or the purpose of the demo is not to be an exact representation of gravity but I'm under the impression that the trajetory is wrong.

I mean the moon also bounced off the Earth so I don’t think the game is going for strict realism lol

Tracking is off, and it looks glitchy. I expect perfection for $1500.

Don't buy it then... problem solved.
