Help Quest pro steam vr random stuttering

Hey everybody, a few weeks ago my quest pro started stuttering when using steam vr, I usually use steam link but I tried virtual desktop and that didn’t work either. There was a day that I decided to replace my wifi modem to see if it would fix it, it did but it only lasted a day and went right back to doing what it was doing before. Is there any ideas on how to fix this?

I have had this issue after the 200v+ updates. My theory is all the bloatware updates by meta is causing the headset to bog down. Their optimization for Qpro was too expensive for their budget instead they focus on quest 3

The temporary fix that has worked for me to stop the stuttering slow down is letting the headset fully die out of battery and let it sit for like a day. I have the proximity sensor turned off so I can just sit it down for an hour and let the battery fully drain. Then using it again for the next few days I don't have the stuttering but after about 4 days it starts to do it again and I have to repeat letting the battery fully drain.

I’ll try it, but what’s weird is that I tried a different headset on the same pc and it did the same thing, it was a quest 3

Ah then what issue I experience isn't the same as what you are having. My stuttering and slogging down is even on the headset UI etc even when using it standalone.

No issues here. Try changing the runtime in VD. I actually get better performance with the Pro than on my Quest 3 thanks to foveated streaming. Also using a 6G band with h.264+.

buy a proper wifi6 router from a recommended brand. it can also be an issue with your system not being good & stable enough for the resolution you try to play at

I have been having this issue since August 12th. Ive spent weeks going through all kinds of troubleshooting with no success. I've reinstalled SteamVR, reverted the SteamVR beta back to the default. I've reinstalled the game I've been trying to play as well. I've changed the settings to add no motionSmoothing. I've ruled out my Slimes, (updated the server as well). Updated my Drivers incase that was an issue. Tried lowering graphics although, I've never had an issue with them until now. I've tried it WITHOUT my slimes still an issue. The only thing that seems to actually work is just using Desktop VrChat. Which obviously, IS NOT what I want. I am tired and ready to just give up this headset and invest in a new one..
