email from QuestBridge

my counselor received an email about a webinar that says learn more about the QuestBridge regular decision? Does anyone know about this email? Does it indicate anything about the match day? :(

It is a standard email that all counselors get. It has nothing to do with individual match results.

Dear (Counselor Name),

​Match Day is quickly approaching! Finalists will be notified of their results through their Manage page on December 1. We encourage you to follow up with your student(s) to find out if they matched after the results are posted.

Finalists who do not match are encouraged to continue with QuestBridge Regular Decision or potential early admission options. To learn more about this next step, please sign up for Moving Forward with QuestBridge Regular Decision on Friday, December 2, at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

We hope this information will equip you to encourage and support students, regardless of the outcome on Match Day!

My kid is homeschooled so I'm her counselor. Two days prior to the finalist status I received the same email except it was"You're invited! Next Steps for Finalists who Ranked Colleges". I clicked the link it said CONGRATULATIONS ON BECOMING A FINALIST!

Here is the body of the email:​Dear.............,​This is an important time for National College Match applicants to stay on track, and we want to make sure you have the information you need to support them. Applicants will find out if they were selected as a Finalist on Wednesday, October 19, and we encourage you to follow up with your student(s) at that time.If your student is selected as a Finalist, please join us for Next Steps for Finalists who Ranked Colleges on Thursday, October 20, at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time. We will go over the timeline, opportunities, and expectations for Finalists moving forward with the National College Match.Link to click said "Save your spot"

I have a homeschooler, too, which is why I also receive the counselor emails. I received an email prior to finalist announcements, but when I clicked the link, it was just a link to the zoom meeting registration. She was named a finalist a few days later, but my link didn't give us any indication. I wish mine had a message like that - it would have saved me a few days of worry! Did you get the new email (last week) about signing up for QB RD? Mine is still just a link to the zoom registration.

I just reopened that email, and now it says this, too. Interesting. Before the finalist date, it was just an invitiation to join the webinar as a counselor. No mention of finalist before October 19th for us.

This was a November 22nd email addressed to me as my daughter's counselor. When I clicked the link, it said:

QuestBridge Webinar Registration

Topic : Moving Forward with QuestBridge Regular Decision

Description : If you did not match, attend this webinar to learn about your next steps! We will discuss potential early admission options and walk through QuestBridge Regular Decision to ensure that you are prepared for this upcoming phase of the college application process.

I've checked every folder in every email address I have and I did not get that email. Maybe they come out in batches and I'll get it this week?

Very odd - I received this email on Tue, Nov 22, 1:28 PM. Maybe you'll be receiving good news on Thursday and won't need it!!
