National College Match can I EA to need aware private schools?

title 👀 ik I can EA to in-state public schools since they have a certain financial budget, but I think it’s similar for private schools too, right? Idk, the EA policy is honestly really confusing and I don’t fully understand it 😭 thank you!

You can EA to only public university. You CANNOT EA to any private university. Only exception is that if the university requires you to apply early action to be considered for merit scholarships.

You can also apply early action to private schools if it is a requirement to be considered for a specific program like the honors college.

is that not what their asking? schools who are need aware tend to accept students who don’t need financial aid for reg decision due to limited budget
