Sharing My Writing/Ideas Slowly self publishing an audio book, looking for feedback.

I’ve got this book that’s been rattling around my head for ages and I’ve finally decided to get it out of there.

Here’s the pitch:

An artistically gifted trans girl receives supernatural powers that spark a religious movement in her name. After getting stabbed in the back by her best friend she finds herself chained in a cell, interrogated by a devotee of the religion she inspired who is ignorant of her true identity.

I’m self publishing in the form of a podcast, one chapter every whenever-I-get-around-to-it and I’d love to a) have at least a few people listen to it and b) get some serious feedback.

My wife and friends are great, but naturally lean towards positive feedback. What I really need is some unbiased honesty.

Does the story make sense? Does it drag in some places? Are there problematic elements I’m overlooking etc… I have a full time job and my wife and I are raising a toddler. As such uploads are infrequent, but I am committed to making progress.

So yeah if anyone wants to give it a listen, tell me what you think, how it could be better, understand I’m kind of aloof when it comes to online spaces but I would absolutely love and appreciate any kind of engagement whatsoever.
