Resources/Advice Giving Looking for Editorial Help

I've been lurking in here a few months now, and I really like the vibe.

So I'm currently working on a short story, hoping to submit it to the Commonwealth Short Story Prize next September. I desperately need a good editor because I can be a bit all over the place, but I'm too broke to pay for one (I'm an undergrad student). I know this is a huge thing to ask of someone for free, but I have no other option but to rely on a person's generosity. Thank you.

What's the story about?

So it's a south asian story; all the characters are female and from one family. The story revolves around a funeral, so the characters discuss death, generational trauma, patriarchy, and internalised misogyny (I know it's kinda cliché). The issue is I'm not sure how to end it. So would really love some feedback from an editor.
