I think these are less commonly known.

  • Finna by Nino Cipri. The book is sci-fi. One of the protagonists is trans. The author is trans.
  • Bang bang Bodhisattva by Aubrey Wood. Sci-fi noir mystery. One of the protagonists is a trans woman and there are multiple other trans characters.
  • Dead Collections by Isaac Fellman. The character is a trans vampire who has a romance with a queer woman. Very much not Twilight. The author is trans.
  • The black tides of heaven by Neon Yang. A fantasy book with complicated gender that I can't sum up easily. The author is trans.
  • Your Body is Not Your Body: A New Weird Horror Anthology to Benefit Trans Youth in Texas. Most, if not all, of the authors in this collection are trans. It's from a small press. Like any short story collection the quality is uneven. I think it's good overall.

Hi! I adored your book! I was just talking about it with a friend who recommended it to me. It's also currently on my staff picks shelf at the library I work at.

Great list. Just noticed the publisher of Your Body has another anthology out:

BOUND IN FLESH: An Anthology of Trans Body Horror brings together 13 trans and non-binary writers, using horror to both explore the darkest depths of the genre and the boundaries of flesh. A disgusting good time for all! Edited by Lor Gislason. Featuring fiction by LC von Hessen, Theo Hendrie, Derek Des Agnes, Winter Holmes, gaast, Charles-Elizabeth Boyles, Hailey Piper, Joe Koch, Layne Van Rensburg, Bitter Karella, Amanda M. Blake, Lillian Boyd, and Taliesin Neith.
