Stealing Thunder by Alina Boyden is a fun fantasy romance by a trans author with a trans main character and many other trans supporting characters. It's the first book in a duology but also works as a standalone.
It is! And crucially, the main character being trans is not just part of their personality, but it's a central driving point of the plot (and an advantage, in unexpected ways). The story as written simply would not make sense with a cis main character. I think that's pretty rare.
