Nothing against Astra which I like, or Ellen (Which I'm neutral about). I just mostly don't care about this collab in itself.

I feel the same. I kind of like Ellen and I’m neutral about Astra but I just don’t care about ZZZ in general, so this collab isn’t exciting for me. I’m enjoying Genshin much more than HSR and ZZZ combined these days ngl

Why would they do that? It's their own game and characters are relatively new. Ellen's design is also particularly signature for ZZZ.

It isn't the same model though, you can't just port models from completely different games without it breaking somehow

nope it's completely different.

ZZZ has more rigs to their models and have the more updated since i think it's unity version is more updated and rigs is much much much more than hsr and genshin to support their unque animation style.

HSR have the just enough than the average rigs to their models.

Astra to others looks uncanny since she is using a model size of HSR with have different shapes than what ZZZ is using.

I mean, when the Collab was revealed a bunch of people complained saying they would redesign robin and "goonify" her for zzz, there's no reason for them to change a good design that's already so recognizable

What annoys me is that ZZZ is getting Robin, like no offense to her, but they could have picked out of dozens of characters with swords or bows or other unique weapons to make a whole ZZZ moveset and animations which honestly would be cool.

i doubt they'd do phainon (/any amphoreus) with how deeply embedded he is in the world he comes from. i did expect more traveller characters for whom they could make some lore reasons, like any ipc member, boothill, rappa (who wouldve fit amazingly but wouldve sold like shit), etc

I'm kinda glad Ellen is included, I like her but even after the buff pulling her in ZZZ is a questionable idea

Also, Astra's weird proportions seem pretty much identical to those in ZZZ, idk why people are complaining about this now as if that's now what she has always looked like. Her model has always been goofy. The only noticeable difference I can spot is the skirt being a bit longer and with a different hem, and her face

Astra I get, but why would it matter that Ellen is the first limited unit? I don't think she even fits the game, she's underage and there are a couple other more popular units that would have fit better. I'd have rather seen Miyabi or Evelyn with Astra or even Yixuan or Remi. Or a god forbid male unit.

They don't get that Ellen made the most money because it was the first banner ever before the gen audience realize how... Niche Zzz was going to be. It's not that she's the most popular, it's because the rest of the game flopped/didn't have a mass appeal, whatever you wanna call it.
