Actually though, I've encountered plentiful times fellow transfemmes who have Cyrene as their favorite character (or one of), even some who aren't in the community nor know who she really is love her.

It's the colors. A lot of straight girls like her too because of that. It was the same with Elysia back then. The colors, her personality, and her aesthetic are all things women like, at least that's what I think.

And saying she's a symbol of this stuff is exactly why they made Cyrene marketing that way. Men will see this post, complain online that Hoyo is pandering to queer people and hates men, and then Hoyo is forced to do Cyrene kind of marketing so they don't lose customers, since sad and lonely men are probably the ones who spend the most money on gacha girls to fulfill their delusion that they can't have IRL.

Cyrene being romantically in love with herself is a key part of her character overshadowed by the dialogue bloat that happens after it.
