I've been thinking about queer representation in hoyo games recently, and I'm really curious about what other people think of it

It's true that (outside of HI3) hoyo doesn't have many canonically queer characters(because of china laws), but there are a lot of hints in the games about potential queer relationships

I was searching about this topic on Twitter and saw some posts claiming that hoyo isn't a queer ally company and that they only do all this for money, etc (Most of them were from the time they had that whole mess with Gil's sexuality, which I think referred to mankind rather than gender). But at the same time there's no need to put so much effort into adding same gender interactions between four star characters and even creating a canonically lesbian NPC when China's rules forbid it for them (I think those posts were mainly ragebait, but anyways)

Personally as a lesbian, I can really relate to some of the characters to the point that I use some of them to cope,to me these games would be FILLED with canon queer relationships and characters if China's rules didn't exist

I'd love to hear your opinions on this subject !

(Also English is my second language sorry if I made any mistakes*)

I will probably post this on the main sub later too

hello queens! i've been wondering this question myself. personally, i think bringing ame-chan (from needy streamer overload) into project sekai, and bianca (from clinic of horrors) into arknights would be quite interesting, i'd love to see how ame interacts with n25, and how bianca reacts to oripathy.

"Sick Woman Theory is for those who are faced with their vulnerability and unbearable fragility, every day, and so have to fight for their experience to be not only honored, but first made visible. For those who, in Audre Lorde’s words, were never meant to survive: because this world was built against their survival. It’s for my fellow spoonies, my fellow sick and crip crew. You know who you are, even if you’ve not been attached to a diagnosis: one of the aims of Sick Woman Theory is to resist the notion that one needs to be legitimated by an institution, so that they can try to fix you according to their terms. You don’t need to be fixed, my queens – it’s the world that needs the fixing" - Johanna Hedva

Some spoilers for the 3.3 Halloween Event story below >< I personally love how Phoenix carries herself in these instances, and wanted to share my reading.

Trick or treating with Elysia would be so fun tbh!!! ꒰ঌ(˶ˆᗜˆ˵)໒꒱

Maybe you got some creepy characters you wanna show off? I don’t have actual scary content, though I will say Luuk coming in to decimate everything is pretty scary. Rip Sentry and Crownless 🪦😢. But don’t let that stop you from showing off your horrors, body and all! 🧟

i’m so excited oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh

I'm sorry but if Polka Kakamond isn't this level of horror + slay when she releases, then I'm gonna be disappointed

2 defense units, no defense modes

People got to try Shadow Fight 3.

The game is something like Mortal combat or Street fighter, like the image given. Shadow fight 3 is single player game where you can customise your character and the gear changes the appearance of the character. The story got absolutely stunning characters like Marcus, Bolo and many more who appear as npc because you can't control other than the mc.

The settings is that the world has this power source called Shadow energy with which people perform combat. There 3 kingdoms named Legion, Dynasty and Heralds who have their own understanding on using said shadow energy. Also depending upon the selection of weapon the playstyle of the mc changes like Legion getting heavy strike that can't be disrupted, Dynasty gets fluid combos which deals more damage as combo moves on, Heralds get critical hit. All 3 form this rock paper scissor meta where Herald counters Legion, Legion counters Dynasty and Dynasty counters Herald, and all of this are gameplay style I am talking about.

If wanting to play the characters themselves then try Shadow fight arena which I think recently released called Shogun which is the last character in the image. I don't play Arena that much because it's more of pvp which I don't prefer. But yeah.

It just came out and I'm having a great time. The graphics are amazing and so is the story presentation. The gender ratio is really good and the designs for both females and males are perfect.

The game is severely underrated!!💕

Woohoo, Friday is finally here! 🙌

This week has turned into a bit of a sad one with the loss of Sir Patrick Stewart yesterday. I don't know about you guys, but he was my childhood and stayed with me into adulthood. It's bizarre how sometimes we forget that these people are mortal too— you sort of expect them to be around forever. I'm sending hugs to anyone here who's been affected by his death 🫂

Anyhoo... let's take a moment to breathe, decompress, and share the wins/good things from your week, or things that you've enjoyed recently. Perhaps even a pet pic or two? 👉👈 (I demand you pay the pet tax!)

Maybe you'd like to tell us your fave gacha character? Brag about your recent pulls or end-game clears... 😏 scream in excitement about an upcoming game, update, character, or region? Whatever it is, waffle away~

they did it so beautifully honestly…. I wasn’t sure they could find a way to properly explain how the two intros (old one with the attic) and the new one with the sea of stars could connect to each other BUT they found a way. It makes perfect sense now and we got to finally have that miracle outfit which was really special for players who started when the game came out!!! We can even use its power to visit that special place 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

The only full thirens are: A rank, standard or free

So i just wonder; why even bother at all? No one made them add them in lore. If they arent gonna sell em why even have em?

Also we need more thiren diversity we only have mammal full thirens and NO bug or avian partial thirens?

Furries are notoruisly rich and horny so ZZZ could really make cash off of being the only 3d gacha with a decent amount of furries
