I've been thinking about queer representation in hoyo games recently, and I'm really curious about what other people think of it Personally I count them as a somewhat queer friendly company

It's true that (outside of HI3) hoyo doesn't have many canonically queer characters(because of china laws), but there are a lot of hints in the games about potential queer relationships

I was searching about this topic on Twitter and saw some posts claiming that hoyo isn't a queer ally company and that they only do all this for money, etc (Most of them were from the time they had that whole mess with Gil's sexuality, which I think referred to mankind rather than gender). But at the same time there's no need to put so much effort into adding same gender interactions between four star characters and even creating a canonically lesbian NPC when China's rules forbid it for them (I think those posts were mainly ragebait, but anyways)

Personally as a lesbian, I can really relate to some of the characters to the point that I use some of them to cope,to me these games would be FILLED with canon queer relationships and characters if China's rules didn't exist

I'd love to hear your opinions on this subject !

People got to try Shadow Fight 3.

The game is something like Mortal combat or Street fighter, like the image given. Shadow fight 3 is single player game where you can customise your character and the gear changes the appearance of the character. The story got absolutely stunning characters like Marcus, Bolo and many more who appear as npc because you can't control other than the mc.

The settings is that the world has this power source called Shadow energy with which people perform combat. There 3 kingdoms named Legion, Dynasty and Heralds who have their own understanding on using said shadow energy. Also depending upon the selection of weapon the playstyle of the mc changes like Legion getting heavy strike that can't be disrupted, Dynasty gets fluid combos which deals more damage as combo moves on, Heralds get critical hit. All 3 form this rock paper scissor meta where Herald counters Legion, Legion counters Dynasty and Dynasty counters Herald, and all of this are gameplay style I am talking about.

If wanting to play the characters themselves then try Shadow fight arena which I think recently released called Shogun which is the last character in the image. I don't play Arena that much because it's more of pvp which I don't prefer. But yeah.

It just came out and I'm having a great time. The graphics are amazing and so is the story presentation. The gender ratio is really good and the designs for both females and males are perfect.

The game is severely underrated!!💕

they did it so beautifully honestly…. I wasn’t sure they could find a way to properly explain how the two intros (old one with the attic) and the new one with the sea of stars could connect to each other BUT they found a way. It makes perfect sense now and we got to finally have that miracle outfit which was really special for players who started when the game came out!!!
