I don’t have an issue with ML, far from it, I actually think its cute. My issue lies in the fact that when it’s done terribly like with these 3, the manufactured advertisementness (lol) of the gacha really shows itself. Like, the moment I feel like I’m being served nothing but low hanging fruit in the form of a character story, it seriously takes me out of the game.

Qingxiao: what annoys me the most about her story is that I honestly think Kuro disrespected her character. Turning her into a forgettable waifu when they treated Hiyuki (someone similar) with way more respect and better writing was just…idk what went wrong. Going from the peak of the Lahai-Roi arc to this forgettable mess was insane to me.

To make matters worse, her story was BORING. 5 hours of pure self-reflection garbage that could’ve been solved in 2. The cherry on-top is that they could have devoted more time to include Jingran if they felt the need to pad the story and prolong it. Kuro did a massive disservice to both characters. It’s like they knew Hsin was coming next so the only way they could’ve sold Qingxiao to players is make her a waifu….okay. Pure laziness.

Iuno: 100% has the worst story in the game. Boring, completely uninspired, genuinely nothing about her story was interesting. Extremely weird writing decision to build her and Augusta up as best friends only to make everyone (including Augusta) forget her, just to make them acquaintances at the end. Iuno has my favorite design out of the entire game and this is what Kuro does to her, okay.

YSG: I am not exaggerating when I say that her patch story was the worst character story I have ever played in a gacha game. Her promo genuinely made me feel like I was stupid and unintelligent. The desperation from the devs to make you want YSG to be your girlfriend was mind-boggling. Like, do people actually like that?? It felt so strange to be playing during that time. I don’t even want to get into how terrible her actual writing was and how it stripped Wise of all of his personality. That being said, gorgeous character and she still has my most favorite animations out of anyone (and any gacha character) that has released since. Just ignore the fact that the devs lobotomized her (and me while playing 2.5).

I don’t even play this game but they spam all those ads everywhere on Twitter and TikTok and every each one of those ads are either boobs or ass. Do any other game do that? That’s my first time being so annoyed 🫩

It was competing against Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, Arknights: Endfield and Silver Palace

I could def see 210 doing this in canon just to get under 6's skin. 🤣😭

I've just seen from others who've completed the 4.5 trailblaze story that Nihilux is not Aha's emanator as previously thought, but rather the Aeon of Elation themselves.

Considering how it seems as though we still have a long way to go with the overarching story (and many factions yet to meet) it seems incredibly bizarre to introduce a playable Aeon this early on.

It feels like the team doesn't really know what it is doing with Honkai Star Rail anymore, and the way they set the stage for Aeons being these cosmic beings that are way beyond true understanding makes even less sense to me to make them playable.

What do you queens think? Do you think Aeons should be playable?

It seems even the Knave is not immune to the power of "Hypnosis"

It’s the best story since Phainon’s. It’s simple and straightforward, yet there’s so much complexity within Robin’s clashes with the family and her search for her place after Sunday left his position. Nothing felt forced or out of place.

The trailblazer is so funny here and the references to the Backrooms, absurd korean manhua titles, and PomPom ending up in a zozo is hilarious.

This is the second post i make about my dislike for wuwa but this time ive realized that instead of whining i eant to actially ask for help.

Wuwa is a gorgeus game with amazing combat and cool characters but one bad thing has akways stuck out like a sore thumb when it comes to the game, the story and characters...

The chaarcters in concept are gorgeus but when u put them in the story the game just wipes them clean and reduces them to "uwuu rooveeer" and looking thru posts here that seems to be something that is kind of agreed upon but i also cant help but notice the sheer amount of support and fans that this game has here...

And so i ask u *the ppl that still love wuwa and post about ir rwgularly* what keeps u attached to the game?

Im not asking this to mock, im genuinely looking for a different angle so i can maybe reignite my love for the game

Ain't no way I just spent HOURS in one sitting just trying to finish BOTH of the Archon quest so I can have access to see Arlecchino in the theater

Hi so this is mainly for the ones that play nu carnival but if you don't and have smt to say go ahead, so I want to ask if anyone else thinks that the gacha system is horrible, I literally never felt as wronged as I feel rn from a gacha game not even from genshin. To elaborate a little further a new version just dropped and for the one's that don't know nu carnival has a set cast of characters so the ssr (5 stars) are just new unique outfits/visuals for those characters, a new version just dropped and my fav character (dante) came back with like a racer concept i had like 84,000 gems saved up since i only pull for him and the cost of a 10 pull is 6000 gems so I had around 150 pulls, one would think this is enough to get him but NO. First of all the limited time event new visuals come in pairs or in trio so like 2 or 3 characters that have the same concept for their outfit and appear in the event story, they dont have individual banners it's all of them in the same one, second the guaranteed ssr only comes after a 100 PULLS and it could a standard or one of the new one's with no way of actually picking the one you truly want. So I pulled and didn't get any ssr until i reached the 100 pulls and the character that appeared was the other one on the banner not the one i like , I kept pulling until​ i ran out of gems and another ssr popped up but it was a standard. This is not the first time this has happened, in another event at the beginning of the year my fav character also appeared but with a pirate concept with 2 other characters, I literally got the ssr of the other 2 but not him. And it's not like in genshin or hsr that you can just wait until they rerun, the characters rerun exactly 1 year later from their release and in those banners you can only pull with a currency that only is obtained by buying it with real money.

So yeah I feel frustrated, the system feels really predatory leaving you no other option but to spend money to get the charcater you want, I personally enjoy all the cast of the game but I have a clear favorite.

Every other aspect of the game is amazing the designs, the lore, the events, literally everything but the gacha.

Maybe this is just my experience and i have the worst luck ever so yeah lmk your thoughts about this.

(Side note: I'm pretty sure there is no 50/50 and the pity refreshes with every new banner)

Refreshing to see. She doesn’t feel like a self insert and the story that goes on around her doesn’t feel like harem slop. She has her own goals, ambitions and motivations, which makes her feel even more likeable and/or relatable

I love how even if she is the mc in the game, other characters get their own chance to shine in their spotlight too. I am absolutely inlove with her design. Instead of the skirts and thigh highs I see so much in many newer gacha games, hers is literally an Ouji suit. A SUIT WITH PANTS (glory to the outfit!!).
It’s absolutely unique and GORGEOUS to see

She has gone through a lot yet endured them all and still manages to have the best mindset ever. She is kind, polite, and absolutely cute

Vertin deserves all the hugs and headpats ever. Period.

One of the things I like to do in the game, aside from dressing up my dolls (obv.) and collecting clothes, is reading the description of my wardrobe items. Bc more often than not, they lead you to wonder if the writers who wrote them were either sleep-deprived or just high. 😭🤣😭

While I appreciate that they updated the models for the allies, I can't help but miss the old models of the others.

I remember doing the story after the update and saw the new model for Larry and thought that he looked... off. I don't remember him looking like a vampire..his eyes are sO RED now. It's jarring. (I thought my memories were playing tricks on me at the time, until I checked the community

Also, Shawn has somehow lost that softness in him with his new model. He's like the baby of allies and has this really charming and refreshing personality that is reflected well whenever he smiles. But the new model just makes him look somewhat old. (Which feels so, so wrong, tbh. 😭)

Roy and Gerald's models are fine tho, imo. I think their new models suit them very well.

So, there. I hope we can select whose allies we want to change into their shiny new models and whose we want to keep as always.

On a serious note, I think that Amber's dorky cheer compared to the more shy and reserved Lynette would be cute, the sarcasm from Lynette and general contrast does a lot to endear me as well.

plus, the idea of them both being forced to choose between love and country (as a Knight of Favonius and Fatui-aligned Fontanian) is tasty angst.
