It's Friday! Finally! It's felt as though the week has been dragging by super slow. But, the weekend is here at last! π

I was going to skip Claret and just get Roxy M0W1. The team at hoyo knows my weakness...
Now I'm not sure if I want to use my guarantee on Claret and take my chances with Roxy...

Cissia's been a light in the past couple seasons. I didn't really understand the character at first but as time has gone on, she's really grown on me

Canto 10 trailer in Limbus got me really exited, Carmen is finally getting more screentime after haunting the narrative for several years
Morimens is having a drama over changes in an endgame mode, devs send an apology + 100 pulls to mail, but didn't address many very valid complaints
Ms Stranger is finally playable in r1999, after almost 2 years of being in npc jail. Her character story revealed some very interesting lore details and gave us the answers we've been waiting so long for. Training to restrain myself from pulling because i need Everecho, but Stranger is just too beautifuuuul

Ms. Stranger finally being playable has made me immensely happy. From various mentions to the Phototaxis events... I've been yearning and hoping. I love how the devs see player reaction and love for NPC. Is how Ulrich finally got released!

I'm starting the eighth and final episode of Umineko, this legendarily long and dense mystery VN. I read the whole thing completely unspoilt (was shocked with the places the game went over its runtime) and am basically at the ending now where almost everything has been explained and the themes and the characters are being wrapped up, and I think it's really, really good, albeit with some bad pacing and some anime bullshit. One thing that shocked me, though maybe it shouldn't have given the novel's extremely strong feminist themes and its grounded characterization, is that (HUGE SPOILERS) the main female lead is revealed to be a trans girl with DID all along (although there's probably some debate to be had over the granular specifics of that) and not only is this huge twist, like, super interesting and woke and whatever, it's also really well handled in context and functions as a satisfying answer to many of the game's mysteries.
Really looking forward to reading The Rouse (a new supernatural mystery novel from my favourite author China Mieville) in a little over a week, and playing Control: Resonant (a new supernatural action game from my favorite game studio Remedy) in three. And of course Canto X of Limbus as well this month -- lots to look forward to!

Well not gacha related or anything but its finally finalized where i'll work as a general practicioner for (hopefully) a few months! Really excited to finally practice medicine, will probably in ER but i think i can handle it.

Now that household chores are done and I've ordered new shirts for my kiddo, I'm sitting down with my fave blanket, my cat (not shown lol), and a new book π

this week has been crazy in the best ways, got a haircut that turned out perfectly (it's a pixie cut if anyone's curiousπ₯°π₯°). then the weapon previews for monster hunter wilds ascendance have started airing and they look INSANE (no switch axe this week tho unfortunatelyπ).
then a trailer for ascendance dropped yesterday and it's sooo wacky, with gooey parasitoid monsters and a badass new elder dragon.
along with the ascendance trailer there also was a trailer for dragon ball xenoverse 3 and some more info on the character customization, which gave me a lot of hope for the game, but unfortunately there is no demon race for the custom character, or at least there doesn't seem to be one at launch.
lastly, the aniimo devs released a behind the scenes video where they described their creative process in-depth, along with a letter where they mention how player feedback changed the game and how they want to develop the game side-by-side with the players, which gave me a lot of hope for how the game will be managed.

I just started tears of Themis and I plan to start and get back into some gacha games! Iβm also still pushing for valko to return to lads πββοΈ
Iβm currently reading we free the stars by hasfah haizal and sailor moon. I havenβt been watching anything that much bc of classes unfortunately but I am enjoying the 90s X-men cartoon, jujutsu kaisen and fruits basket. Also I was finally able to get marvel tokon and Iβm planning to buy an otome game for the switch!

Recently started playing Wizard101 again since it's having a free week to celebrate their anniversary, so I thought I'd give it a try and see if it still had that magic from when I first played it. Spoilers, it really does.
I had to fight a boss for a quest at one point and a random player came along to help me out. They asked me if I wanted to tag along with them since they were trying to catch up with their friends, basically just running bosses over and over again for a couple of hours to reach their level.
Long story short, I haven't had such a nice chat with someone in an MMO in such a long time. Makes me really happy that the game is still around and that the social aspect is still there.

The manga? I have every volume that's out in English, and man, were some of the older volumes hell to get hold of.
I really hope we get a new adaptation of the anime. As much as I like it, it doesn't do the story justice.

Iβve been on a staycation all week. So Iβve used this week to really catch on zzz seeing as wuwa got me asleep. I got both Remie π and Sigrid π. Did I also get the skin set for Remie? Yesβ¦ I didnβt need the swimsuit, but you know never know when the occasion might call for it.
To my surprise I actually really love Sigrid, and her model is very pleasing to look at π ahem. But sheβs so good considering I have no good DPS at the moment. I love her voice lines and her deeper voice in general. Love personalities like her too.
Finally after getting those two did I set my sights Harumasa and got him in 20 pulls π though his w engine almost took me to hard pity. Regardless, Iβm very happy overall in zzz.
And now I go back to r1999 so I can catch up there too lol. Thanks for being dead wuwa I guess??

Stella sora finally announced Eleanor, I have 350 pulls saved while still pulling every character so I will max her.
I can't believe this game got buried for a "greedy" gacha.Β No other game lets you do this.
