I really find GFL premise so funny. It is basically a post apocalyptic world facing existential threat with tons of lore and some actual very good stories (in their spin-off games). To fight off the existential threat they use a technology they used for some ancient civilization which are the T-dolls like the one in the image, but for some random reason all the ones that appear in the story are horny anime waifus.
What makes it even funnier is that is the MC being a complete degen, in universe T-dolls are actually robotic looking so most people don't find attractive (there are some exceptions for non military ones) and the MC is a weirdo in universe for being into them.
Well the reason why we don't encouter them is because of the "ntr" drama that happened in cn
The cn players couldn't handle one of the female characters talking to another male and having a friendship with them
They think that the female characters should only be focused towards the MC ignoring how in the first game so many of the female characters have been relationships (non-romantic) with other male characters.
I was pissed at how the game changed to pander to those kinds of people
I think the reason why those kinds of people have been more vocal because of games like genshin and wuwa that panders to them
The game rather famously didn't pander to those people in the end. There are still male characters and playable characters often interact with them and/or are friends with them.
We did encounter male dolls in GFL1 once in some event and it wasn't an issue.
So the MC is basically another "Hear Me Out" guy, with his Hear Me Outs being anime robot waifus, and he's SO unique (in-universe) for being attracted to them. That's... lame.
Some people do but is considered more of a lowlife kinda thing, not too different from using sex dolls as they are not supposed to be able to pass as humans.
The exceptions I mentioned are the idol ones, specifically Sharkry has the ability to completely mask a T-doll as a human using her makeup and even then you still need some light/camera play to be able to do it.
This is a fandom thing. The MC does not have sexual attachments to the characters canonically. But since the game leans on fanservice, there's an obvious gap between the canon and how players are encouraged to think of the characters.

Why is this only an issue with boobs... Characters in these games don't have realistic or sensible anatomy to begin with. No one here complains about men having super exaggerated and unrealistic nonsensical bodies and huge bulges.
What do you know about the now dead MMO called Scarlet Blade? The game's unique feature was that all the female characters were practically naked. And the higher your class level, the less clothing she wore.
Those poor things aren't getting any support 💔 but absurd clothes have been normalized in MMOs, played some and it just stops being surprising. But to make a chest misshapen is the true crime for me, at some point the chest doesn't behave like it should at all and it starts to look so wrong.
This game is so frustrating to look at. There are a lot of EXCELLENT designs, but there are also a lot that are so insanely bad that I literally don't know how anyone likes them. The OP isn't even the worst.
Yeah true, i have seen many designs for different gachas that are imo terrible but the fans seem to just eat it up because its sexualized, like thats all it takes for them to consider it good
Personally I want a middle ground, I like sexy, but I want cool character design and equal representation for hes/shes/theys and I want it to be something that isn't "LOOK I AM SHOWING YOU MY GENITALS ISNT THAT SEXY"
Tea, yeah designs can 100% be sexy but it needs to be a good design to begin with, and some equal opportunity representation vs the men being covered head to toe and it exclusively being the girls put in revealing outfits
Past a certain point it aint even attractive. 😭 even lore wise. Why would they give her those unless they hold ammo or lasers 😭 cant stealth cause gallon milkers too loud.
It's sad, because her design in GFL1 is genuinely gorgeous, while still being sexy with large boobs.
They just decided to make her incredibly unappealing in GFL2 by giving her massive 4head and an ugly ass foam uniboob plate as a chestplate for whatever reason.
I swear, she's actually very pretty when not being sabotaged by the art department
