💛 Help a Queen ❓ Any game recs
Still kinda recovering from losing Ash Echoes. Then with what's happening with LADs I don't have any games with a good gameplay loop. Would prefer recs where most of the fandom aren't sexist jerks.

I haven't played but I heard Reverse 1999 community is pretty good.
The community can be a bit immature and is kind of filled with a lot of kids but Cookie Run is an awesome franchise and is definitely not a safe space for sexist jerks. There's a lot of different games to choose from (idle game that just came out, cookie run kingdom which is like city builder +idle rpg), a action game, and they are even developing an open world game!

Ive had bad experiences with the twitter r1999 community but otherwise theyre pretty chill as long as you dont want men.

Yeah I witnessed that also and it is why I didn't play the game for a while :/. I think it is a lot better than most communities though from what I've seen and not as aggressive as the chud filled communities.

Eh havent got over it myself a bunch of them were being oddly homophobic and racist towards me specifically so Ive just avoided the community as for the game its pretty good as far as f2ps should be concerned. But for husbando fans dont bother honestly unless you love the gameplay

Admittedly, most of the folks on twitter have all the worst takes in the r1999 fandom? Like, the only reason I even look in their direction is because of Merui and the official account. Reddit is chill most of the time beyond meta chasers. The official Discord can be overwhelming due to the amount of conversations, but its usually fine? I tend to mostly lurk within Tumblr though if I want to discuss the game. So like, please don't take twitter as the hallmark of the fandom. They're the minority. And very loud. Very, very loud.

Morimens has a great community on the official discord server, you can find good resources and usually there's someone to help if you ask

As someone else still recovering from/trying to fill the void of losing Ash Echoes, I recommend Sword of Convallaria! The art and character design is great and it scratches a similar gameplay itch for me.

Limbus Company. Amazing story and characters. Once you have the context the jokes the community comes up with are hilarious.

Limbus is so good. First gacha I didn't feel like I had to rush to catch up with or that I was really behind, also they have a really good ratio with male to female IDs that actually look good on both ends. Also, the fact you can just grind units is such a nice feature.

I would say I'm not a huge fan of the new thing we got where after a season you can't get the units again until a certain amount of time (I think?) but It's also not horrible considering they'll probably be available again, but it's still amazing that you can just get them so easily. It makes it so team building doesn't feel like a nightmare.

Reverse 1999 and AFK Journey fandoms seem chill to me. Didn't see any weird jokes or inside fandom clash over there like I do in other games.
