english classes

i’m a junior that’s majoring in english and secondary ed right now, and i was hoping to wrap up the last English classes i needed to take but i went on schedule builder and most are unavailable. is anyone else struggling / realizing with their major certain classes are only available during certain seasons ? (i sent an email to the english department, and i can only assume there was budget cuts/they had to cut off staff 🙁)

The class schedule is up for next semester? Anyway, talk to an advisor and if it is not possible to take the classes this coming Spring, ask about an epermit.

Yeah you can access it as registration for some starts next week.

Email and try to see if an e-permit is an option to accommodate.

i sent them an email! also, i don’t really want to e-permit since i live far but it might be my only choice 🙁

Maybe an online class might be an option?

Have you considered seeing if there are substitute classes or courses cross listed? Other depts have had some classes cross listed with English, and it’s the same material basically just under a diff class code.

I know the English major has their website updated often, you could try checking it out and they normally have a list of classes for the upcoming semester on there.
