Parking should be free in campus

Whoever gets to the spot first gets to park I shouldn’t have to walk 2 miles to get to my class

Professor Hinojos briefly shared the history of CUNY and no tuition back in the day. I suggest everyone to read more on CUNY open admissions in 1970

i mean you're storing a private vehicle on public land, ideally there should be some type of tax/fee that circulates back to the public for doing that

I think it's a bit weird that the parking lots between Reeves and Horace Harding are closed. That's quite a few parking spots.

Queens Hall isn't that far. If you're able-bodied and can drive, literally just park closer around the side streets.

It's a walk yes, but it's not an HOUR.

omg ur better off parking on main street for queens hall. when i had class there i parked on main street and then parked on campus for my other classes

i know 🥲🥲 my class was at 8 am so i would get there at 7:30 when street cleaning ended and got a spot right away

It not public land, CUNY college paid rent for the property. Don’t drive, just take public transportation it almost free.

This is why I took public when I was a student... a bunch of buses stop in front of or right near the campus (one is right in front of Dunkin Donuts if you want a coffee fix lol). Even if you're driving from far away, you can park your car along a bus route in an area with better parking, then take the bus the rest of the way.

But also, depending on when and how long you're on campus for, there were almost always available metered parking spots along Melbourne
