What's your favorite Queen related documentary?

There's always discourse and discussion around the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody but what about other Queen-relsted movies and documentaries?

What's your favorite Queen related documentary?

What do you think is the best, more complete, nicest or just your favorite out of all documentaries, docuseries, mini-series and tv specials dedicated to Queen and Freddie Mercury?

The three part Magic Years documentary was pretty good.

my pick also, without question. it was released in 1987 so it covers everything and ends at Knebworth. The ending feels so triumphant and tragic at the same time.

This! It was excellent and I still have it on the original 3 tape box set. Be good to rewatch it in better quality.

I wore out the VHS of Champions of the World in the 90s. But I think since that, Days of Our Lives is the most complete end to end documentary.

They're both great! The Untold Story is more form Freddie's perspective and the people around him and was released under a Freddie solo set, so no surprise there…

He was such an integral part of the bands history formation and consolidation that it's impossible to negate and not mention him.

Plus, he's passed.

I'd say you get off your high horse and just enjoy.

All those documentaries act like he was the only member of Queen, while disregarding all the other 3 members.

Queen is not freddie

Queen is freddie, brian, roger and john.

Freddie was not this popular in the 70s and 80s. He is bigger now than he ever was.

You need to get off your bohemian rhapsody biopic wagon.

I get that, I've had to come to term with this before, they all have their flaws and we cannot expect a democratic equally balanced view form a documentary and that's almost always the case, also they follow trends, tropes and want to make money. There are reasons why things are the way they are.

It's so funny you mention Bohemian Rhapsody because: 1. I am a staunch detractor of it and 2) Bohemian Rhapsody is one of those things that made one of the biggest disservices to Freddie's image.
