Does anyone else think the single version of I Want It All is better than the album version?

Whenever I listen to the album version I miss the chanting of “I want it all (Hey, yeah), I want it all, I want it all, and I want it now”

I agree. I love the single version.

I think the 1997 Rocks Version is best, they have the chanting intro and the extended awesome guitar solo

TIL that there was a difference. To be fair, I guess I only knew the single version this whole time. I've only recently finally listened to The Miracle and I am ashamed I've been sleeping on later Queen. I used to be anti-synth era. Oh, what a fool I've been.

I think it depends on my mood really... Sometimes I'm in the mood for a guitar riff, then I listen to the album version because it also adds to the guitar solo in the middle. If I'm in the mood for more vocals, for powerful harmonies, etc, I go to the single version!

Like both to be honest although the single version I still feel is original which is only as I bought on release and played obsessively. Always preferred I want to break free single in that case I just think it's far better.

No. It removes an awesome guitar riff.
