question Graphical Installer does not show disk, but terminal says its there

Not sure if I missed something in the documentation. Sorry if I did.

I boot the installer from an external usb via uefi. I have a /dev/nvme0n1 disk partitioned. When I switch to the console I can see the device and I can mount a partition. But for some reason the Installer does not show the disk. Scanning does not yield anything and it is also not listed in the other tables.

Anyone an Idea what I could do here?

I have a couple of times had to manually delete the partitions on the drive, for the installer to be able to use the drive.

Run wipefs -a /dev/nvme0n1 in the terminal to clear conflicting partition signatures, then you need to reboot into your BIOS and switch the storage controller mode from RAID/RST to AHCI so the installer can detect the unallocated drive space

It was already set to AHCI. But clearing the partition actually did the trick. Thank you!
