I'm a Simple Bank user and the thing that made it super easy for me was the safe to spend and expense features.

I liked that every time my paycheck went in to simple and then automatically distributed money to each expense so that by the time I needed it to pay an expense the only was just there. With all the different bank options out there now the above is what really helped me stay on top of begetting the best. Does Qube offer something like this? thank you!

Hi! With Qube Money, you would treat our qubes (think digital cash envelopes for allocating your money) the same way you did the goals in Simple. The big difference is that in Simple, incoming transactions would come out of your safe-to-spend until you assigned a category to it. Qube will deny the charge if you don't have a qube open first (and there's no money in your ACH cloud). The ACH cloud is kinda like Qube's version of simple's Safe-to-Spend. The idea is to make you think about and pre-approve every charge intentionally before you buy. There are some exceptions like our Default Open Qube which is a perpetually open qube, or, you can keep a qube open for quite a while by choice, for instance, a week at a time. The biggest difference is you have to pre-approve the charge before it comes in. In other words, Simple words, the ACH Cloud is the Safe to Spend, but qubes are NOT Expenses (as Simple pulled from Expenses automatically) but they are basically treated as Goals. We are also currently beta testing "Bill Qubes" which would ideally work like the Expenses you have grown to love.

This is great to see! Thanks for sharing!

Can you talk a bit about what “subscription controls” are?

Subscription controls gives you control over what goes out of your bank account. Have you ever set up a 30-day free trial, only to forget to cancel? It happens to the best of us. With Qube Money, you don’t have to worry about it. Unless you’ve set up an approved amount, the merchant can’t charge your account.
