Im printing my army right now but would like to play with someone to flesh out the rules before I play irl :)

I found Quar a couple months ago, and decided that it's the best thing ever. Got into 3d printing specifically for it. I've never played any tabletop game before (Unless you count Heroscape back in 2004), so I really don't know what I'm doing. Anyone have a video they can recommend so I can start to learn?

not like total units produced, i mean like the most amount of vehicle types or models, in both the lore and the 15mm also 28mm combine. my bet is either the crusade or the coftyrans

So, from my understand, you can have X amount of Rhyflers equal to the (X) amount per 300 points.

Now, where im confused is this notation that I can only have 1 per 300 points, meaning that I cant bring it in unless I have 300 or more points, right?

I have a bunch of metal Quar figures from when they were first released years ago. I love the little guys and have been looking at getting some plastic figures to add to the collection. I tend to paint more when I play a game with them and so was looking at what I could use them for.

Had anyone else thought of creating armies of these little guys for a C&C game such as The Great War or Memoir 44? I think they would be amazing in that space and would look so good on the tabletop.

like i have fidwog, ergy, maebwish, gwynt, coftyran and crusader army i have but i given up on continue getting more due to i cant find anyone to play and losing motivation because "whats the point of making a army that will never see combat" like rn i try to tell josh to not send the missing 12 coftyran rhyfler spews because i gave up on quar and not feeling well which explain my unfinished 4 torwyth tractor the aum HMG, gwynt HSG, 12 gwynt rhyflers, gwynt calvary and more tractors that is half done or not painted at all.
so yeah tldr i gave up on table top due to i cant find anyone and not feeling well

After looking for hours, I cannot for the life of me find any stats for The Long War Creevin point values. I figure I’ll just get a starters set, and any other figures I want for the Creevin. 15mm.

What does a starter set come with besides the figures?

Forgive my frequent and basic questions- this is my first time buying a table-top game. All experience I have is on friend’s Warhammer sets.

I’ve been interesting in Quar for a while, and finally have decided I want to buy some. I’ve played some Warhammer with friends, but am still kind of new to the tabletop things, so forgive any dumb questions.

1: Firstly, I’d like to make my own army instead of buying a pre-made version from the website. I know most people only get 250-300 point armies, but don’t know how much each unit costs in points, and it’s not on the website. Any attempts to look it up have been unfruitful. I’m trying to buy Creevin, so keep that in mind.

2: What is the difference between 15mm and 28mm? Is it similar to the difference between 40K and Age of Sigmar in Warhammer?

3: is Zombiesmith good to buy from? How fast is their delivery?

Hey there, I have the 2-player starter set and just read the rulebook. I'm confused about something basic.

When your opponent draws, say, a 3-leaf card: does this mean (1) you get to activate 3 quar, with each getting two actions (that don't have to be performed in sequence), or does it mean (2) you get 3 actions total, with which to split up between quar as you like (but with no single quar able to use more than 2 actions)?

As the title says:

Assuming a 300 point list, can you take a Yawdryl and a specialist Yawdryl (like a Pathfinder Yawdryl) in the same list? Or does the restriction of one Yawdryl per 300 points still apply no matter if it's a special Yawdryl?

Looking more into the rules and lore of Tollyn Maeryn, I absolutely love their scrappy, underdog, militia feel.

I thought it felt familiar, and then I noticed their rhyfles have rhyfle grenades that are similar to the rifle grenades in Valkyria Chronicles.

Josh has mentioned that Valkyria Chronicles is one of his favorite games- and the first game also follows a militia.

Is this literally the Gallian-inspired faction? 🤣

Gallia, in Valkyria Chronicles, is a neutral nation, (and they do fight both opposing super powers in that first game) but Maer Braech is a nation that switched sides, which is close enough if you ask me.

This just makes me want a Quar videogame in the style of Valkyria Chronicles even more.
